Is Rakuga free?
Yes. You can play Rakuga for free in a web browser. Open the home page, choose a nickname and avatar, then join a public room or create a private room.
Do I need an account?
No. Rakuga does not require an account to play in the browser. Your chosen nickname identifies you during the room session, so use a name that friends can recognize.
How many players can join a room?
Rakuga rooms support two to twelve players. You can enter a public room for a quick match or use a private room when you want to keep a specific group together.
How do I join a public room?
Choose your nickname and avatar on the Rakuga home page, then use the quick-play option. Rakuga will place you in an available public room for your selected language.
How do I create a private room?
Select the create-room option from the home page. Choose the available room settings, enter the lobby, and use the invitation controls to bring in friends before the match starts.
How do I invite friends?
Create a private room and copy its invitation link from the lobby. Send that link through the messaging service your group already uses. Friends can open it in a browser and enter the room.
Can someone join after the match starts?
A late guest can open the invitation link and follow the room flow when entry is available. If the current drawing turn is already underway, the guest may need to wait for the next suitable point to participate fully.
What happens if the room is full or closed?
An invitation to a room that is no longer available cannot reopen that same session. Rakuga may offer a path toward an available public room so you can continue playing instead of staying on a dead invitation.
What happens if my connection drops?
Rakuga will try to reconnect you while the room is still active. Keep the browser page open for a moment. If the session has ended or your place is no longer available, return home and join another room.
How do I report disruptive behavior?
Open the player's profile from the room and use the vote-kick control. The room handles removal through participant votes, so one person cannot remove another alone. For a broader concern, use the site contact page.
Can I ignore another player?
The player profile provides room moderation controls, including an option to ignore a participant when available. Use it to reduce unwanted interaction without interrupting the whole match.
Does Rakuga have voice chat?
No. Guesses are entered in the game chat. If friends want to talk while playing, they can keep a separate group call open and avoid saying the secret answer aloud.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
Yes. The browser version has mobile-friendly controls for drawing, guessing, chatting, and sharing. A larger screen may offer more drawing space, but it is not required.
Is there a Rakuga app?
Yes. Rakuga is available for iOS and Android. Visit the Rakuga app page from your device to continue to the appropriate store.
Which languages can I play in?
Rakuga supports several languages. Choose the language that feels most comfortable before entering public play. Private groups can also agree on the language they want to use together.
How does a drawing turn work?
The drawer chooses a secret word and sketches visual clues on the canvas. Everyone else types guesses in the chat. Writing the answer directly removes the challenge, so clear shapes, actions, and context are better clues.
How does scoring work?
Fast correct guesses earn more points. The drawer also earns points when other players solve the clue, which rewards clear communication. The final ranking reflects the points collected across the match.
Do I need to know how to draw?
No. Simple circles, boxes, triangles, lines, and stick figures are enough. Draw the main idea first, then add the feature or setting that separates it from similar answers.
Does Rakuga send notifications?
Any game notifications are local to your device and depend on its settings. Rakuga does not use an account-based notification inbox. Keep the active room visible when you do not want to miss a turn.
